android 2.3.3 ( gingerbread) update for galaxy tab

first, install samsung kies from driver cd which comes with samsung galaxy tab.

or else click on this link http://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobilesoftwaremanual/mobilesoftwaremanual.do?page=MOBILE.SOFTWARE.MANUAL



install samsung kies on your pc.

1) download these files.
   1) dbdata.zip ---- dbdata.zip

   2) gt-p1000_mr_PIT.zip ---- gt-p1000.zip

   3) odin3 v1.7.zip ----- odin3 v1.7.zip

2)save these files on your computer.



now here it is ,gingerbread fot galaxy tab.!!


3) download android 2.3.3 (gingerbread)

With bootloaders: android 2.3.3<--- flash this one


4) now extract all the files is a folder...

# NOTE- MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE INSTALLED SAMSUNG KIES.

5) turn off your tab.

6) now start your tab in downloading mode..( by pressing volune down button + power button)..
  (see this image.. )

7) now connect your tab with pc using usb cable..

PROCEDURE (ODIN)

8) now run odin3...

# NOTE - MAKE SURE THAT IN THE BOX NAMED "ID:COM" ( AT THE TOP LEFT SIDE OF THE DIALOG BOX) IS SHOWING SOMETHING WHICH IS HILIGHTED IN YELLOW COLOUR..

9) now make sure that re-partition ,auto reboot and F.reset time is checked..

10) now click on PIT and select gt-p1000_mr_PIT fron the folder in which you have extracted it...

11) now click on PDA and select P1000XXJQ1_P1000XXJQ1_P1000XXJPZ from the folder in which you have extracted the file which you have downloaded in step 3.

12) now click on start ....and now go and get some coffee for you cause it will take some time.

13) you will see that something is downloading in your tab...

14) after the installation is completed your tab will reboot..

15) then again turn off the tab...and again start it in downloading mode.

16) again connect it to the pc and run odin..

17) now click on reset...

18) now click on PDA and select dbdata from the folder in ehich you have extracted dbdata.zip.

#NOTE- MAKE SURE THAT re-partition IS NOT CHECKED.

19) now click on start..it will take few second to finish.

20) after it is finished turn-off the tab and start it in bootloader mode ( by pressing volume up key + power key)

21) after that scroll down to wipe cache partition and then press home ..

22) again scroll down to wipe data/factory reset nad then yes delete all user data and  then press home...

23) agar scroll to reboot now and press home..

THATS IT YOU'RE DONE...!!!!! ENJOY ANDROID 2.3.3

#NOTE- MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE UNPLUGED YOUR USB BEFORE REBOOTING YOUR TAB..
#NOTE- SELECT YOUR PREFERED LANGUAGE...

HOW TO ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB P1000

1.download CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS and extract it in a folder..
 CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS

2.connect your tab to pc in downloading mode.

3.run odin3

4.click on PDA and and select CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS from the folder where you have extracted it.

#NOTE -MAKE SURE THAT RE PARTITION IS NOT CHECKED

5.click on start.

6.tab will reboot after installation completes.

7. Done...!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after rebooting a super user icon will appear in your application list.

8.your tab is rooted...and now you have super user ac
